HISTORY
Sunset Hills is a relatively young city, having been incorporated in June of 1957.

Art and nature lovers alike enjoy the outdoor sculpture garden, Laumier Sculpture Park, which spans 97 acres. The neighborhood also houses St. Louis’ own Panera Bread Company, which is headquartered in Sunset Hills.
SCHOOLS
Sunset Hills is part of the Lindbergh and Kirkwood public school districts, both of which are widely regarded as excellent school systems. The neighborhood is also home to South County Technical High School and Meramec Community College.
PARKS & REC
Watson Trail Park | Sunset Hill’s largest park; features include: a 9-hole disc golf course, four tennis courts, a basketball court, swimming pool, volleyball court, playground, and picnic shelters.
Lynstone Park | This park includes a playground, picnic shelter, basketball court, and soccer field.
Claire Davidson Conservation Area - Sappington Road | In conjunction with the Missouri Conservation Commission, this is Sunset Hill's nature park.
The Sunset Hills Ballfield | Use is first come first served, but reservations can be made for this field at the Park Activity Center at Watson Trail Park.
Minnie Ha Ha Park | Recently acquired, the land is comprised of the Minnie Ha Ha Beach that was popular in the 30's. There are plans to make this an official park.
