THE FEEL
The town of Foley is friendly, but also has a quiet strength about it. Long-time residents will tell you that, in the far past, the town has survived fires, floods, and hard economic times… only to come out the stronger. Though the town has all the modern safeguards in place to minimize these disasters, the inner strength of Foley resident’s lives on, making for a tight community.
HISTORY
Foley was incorporated in May of 1890, named after a Miss Addie Foley for reasons we can only speculate.
ACCESSIBILITY
Foley lies along scenic route 79 which accesses interstate 70.
CULTURE
At first a farming community and then an industrial town, Foley is now better know as a great place to enjoy fishing, off-roading, or hanging out with friends.
ENTERTAINMENT
It’s the active outdoor type that will find the most to do in Foley. Off-road trails and mud pits are available for all ORVs, and there is also an outdoor paintball park. Fishing and hiking are also popular.

Foley is in the Winfield R- IV school district.

Foley has a lot of beautiful green land with access to the Mississippi River.
